Measuring what matters
Individualized learning requires individualized assessment.
We start by getting to know each child’s background and abilities, which allows us to create a baseline for their learning journey. Then we add consistent assessment of each children’s progress, coalescing around a personal learning plan, which also allows parents to clearly know and support their child’s learning at home. On-going and frequent check-ins provide valuable information, allowing us to customize curriculum and celebrate the success of each child at Luma Montessori.
